I kinda hope it is some part of a cyberman but I'm guessing something more kitchen related?
Hmmm. At first I thought it was one of those things you put in your sink to allow the water to drain away but catch the debris but those aren't holes?! Then I thought it was some kind of microphone close-up but the shape is wrong! Hmmm. Gonna have to go and stare it a while longer....
Shower head?
Stewart, I don't normally keep a Cyberman in the house (cool thought though - I wonder if MrsG-T would go for it...)

It does look a bit like a colander, but it isn't one! :-)
