My Favourite Photo

I took this today at my favourite place to go and 'be' in Aberdeen, at the beach.

I might be stretching the 'ordinary' a bit here. This is the rear fin on a 1959 Cadillac Coupe De Ville and it looks AMAZING! In the late 1950s car designers were all about the 'jet age' and these fins were designed to look like part of a jet aircraft. The red lights were supposed to look like jet engines when lit.

And this was available at your local car dealership...

Cast Aside

Why is it that in growing up we too often cast aside the joy and imagination of youth and replace it with the mediocre and mundane. I believe in magic. Not tricks or illusions but the magic that happens when your imagination returns to it's child like roots where anything and everything is possible. So I am picking up my Toys again and daring to believe in magic!

sun peeking in

Tomorrow we are hoping to go out and spend some time together in the fresh air. This photo reminded me of the last time we managed to get out on a lovely day and have a great walk. These are my kind of days! I knew when I saw these trees it was a "capture me" moment!
