Apparently those little upright winglets reduce air turbulence and increas the lift from the wing. Or at least to the Richard Hammond engineering programme I saw on the telly last week!

That must be one smooth wing. They usually aren't as reflective as that.

If Ryanair weren't so cheap you could sell that to them as a promotional picture!
