Clydeside

Clydeside, originally uploaded by stewartcutler.

The Titan Crane on Clydeside with the squinty bridge in the background taken from the SECC. Glasgow has some stunning architecture, old and new.

I really like this photograph, especially for the story it tells. There is a lot of interest and information but it is uncluttered and well composed. It shows how Glasgow has embraced change and is a modern, vibrant city, especially around the river, in terms of architecture and public space. I look forward to the coming Museum of Transport.
